IT Business Analyst - ERP / Manufacturing

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBusiness Analyst – Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)Expert Technical Solutions has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst with one of our premier clients in Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.Role Summary:The IT Business Analyst – Data & Analytics Delivery will:

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from the business to gather functional and non-functional requirements for new data and analytics initiatives.
• Create comprehensive requirement documents, including descriptions, wireframes, field mappings, scenarios, and test scripts for each project or enhancement.
• Oversee the delivery team’s Azure DevOps (ADO) board, coordinating efforts with developers, internal IT teams, and business SMEs.
• Contribute to solution development by writing SQL queries to validate data, relationships, and potential solutions.
• Conduct unit testing on reports, dashboards, and other data solutions developed by the technical team.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) with SMEs and track any identified defects or change requests from the testing process.
• Perform final testing of completed solutions and reports to ensure quality and functionality.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years as an IT Business Analyst
• 3+ years as an IT Business Analyst working with ERP systems
• Experience working with business intelligence solutions, preferably in a complex manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to lead requirements gathering sessions with business SMEs
• SQL skills

Skills

• Strong knowledge of the Manufacturing industry, IT platforms, and business intelligence solutions.
• Advanced experience with Honeywell OptiVision (OMS) ERP, including multiple OMS modules.
• Expertise in SQL and familiarity with Power BI.
• Proficient understanding of Infor OMS or similar ERP applications, including M3 database structures.
• Experience in Sales/Order Management, Accounting, Order to Cash, or Production Planning/Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
