Role: IT Field Support Technician \nLocation: Leicester\nSalary: £25,000 - £35,000 (DOE)\n\nAre you a motivated and friendly IT professional looking for your next challenge? Join a dynamic IT team as a Field Service Technician and make an impact across the UK! This role, based in Leicester, offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment where you'll play a crucial part in IT support and infrastructure setup.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nProvide 1st and 2nd line IT support both remotely and on-site.\nTravel to multiple UK sites to set up IT infrastructure for new locations.\nMaintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking equipment at existing sites.\nCollaborate with the helpdesk to resolve support tickets and provide telephone and remote assistance.\nPerform user administration tasks and assist with network support and maintenance.\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\nStrong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels.\nSelf-motivation and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.\nAnalytical skills to solve technical issues effectively.\nHands-on experience with:\n\nMicrosoft Desktop Operating Systems.\nBasic understanding of Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, and domain-based networks.\nNetworking fundamentals (LANs, VLANs, Subnets, etc.).\nHelpdesk ticketing systems and common software applications like Microsoft Office.\nPreferred Experience & Skills:\nPrevious experience in a similar role (training provided if you're the right candidate!).\nNetworking certifications (CompTIA N+, CCENT, CCNA) are a plus, or a willingness to achieve these qualifications.
