Vice President - IT Infrastructure Architect - London - Hybrid Working - Permanent Position

Our client (an Investment Bank in London) is looking for an Infrastructure Architect (VP level) to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge infrastructure solutions.

The role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of the financial services industry to ensure our IT infrastructure aligns with business objectives and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be designing and implementing the scalable, secure IT infrastructure aligned with business goals.
• You will lead complex infrastructure projects, including data centers, cloud solutions, and network architecture.
• You'll collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technology solutions meet operational and regulatory requirements.
• You'll contribute to the bank’s IT strategy and evaluate new technologies for competitive advantage.
• Ensure infrastructure compliance with security standards and regulations
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the infrastructure team.
• Be comfortable working 3 days in the office, and 2 from home.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure design, including cloud, networking, and storage.
• Deep understanding of financial services industry requirements and regulations.
• Proven ability to align IT infrastructure with business strategy.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; relevant certifications (e.g, AWS) .
