IT Project Manager

Job Description

This is a 6 month day rate contract.

This role is critical in driving the management, planning, organising and implementation of small to medium mission critical IT projects. Your success with this role is pivotal to core system responsibilities and will enable Rotork to continue to strengthen during a massive transformation period.

Reporting to the IT PMO Manager, this role will oversee a number of projects within the IT function of the business.

In this role you will develop plans, schedules and reporting structures for projects including obsolescence management using relevant methodologies, with the goal of keeping these within timeframes and budgets and manage these through to completion. You will understand and manage external relationships as well as internal ones across multiple functions and departments within the global set up of Rotork.

This role would suit a goal driven person who champions good processes and thrives on building relationships through leadership qualities and stakeholder influencing.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience managing small to medium IT projects or programmes
• Evidence of vendor management and working with 3rd parties
• Experience working to deadlines and budgets

The Successful Candidate:

• Ability to take the helm within teams and project
• Has excellent communication with key stakeholders at all levels
• Champions organisation and planning throughout all processes
