Job Title: IT Project Manager



Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent role

Salary: up to £62,000



Benefits: Hybrid working, Company pension 2% EE 6% E, 33 days holiday including bank holidays.



Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex international software projects. You will support the entire project life cycle, acting as a vital interface between customers, project teams, external partners, and internal departments. This role involves comprehensive project planning, monitoring, and reporting to ensure successful delivery aligned with organisational objectives.



Key Responsibilities:



Manage IT projects throughout the entire life cycle, from cost estimation to operation.

Develop project scope and objectives in collaboration with technical experts and business departments.

Create detailed project plans and ensure feasibility.

Plan, monitor, and report on resources, budgets, scopes, schedules, and milestones.

Engage and manage all project stakeholders, including internal and external customers, suppliers, and developers.

Perform risk management, evaluating and initiating measures to minimize risks.

Create, maintain, and monitor comprehensive project documentation.

Organize and facilitate kick-off sessions, meetings, and workshops.

Report directly to the Head of IT Web Applications.Qualifications:



Completed studies in a relevant field and experience in project management and technical leadership of interdisciplinary teams.

Professional experience in planning, implementing, and managing complex software/web projects.

Technical background with hands-on experience in web technologies; experience integrating web applications with SAP is a plus.

Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills, with a good understanding of processes.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

High sense of quality and responsibility, with independent thinking and acting.

Strong networking skills and the ability to coordinate various project stakeholders.

Ability to navigate difficult project situations with confidence.

Experience in project management using hybrid approaches (classic and agile methods).

Relevant certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, Product Owner, IPMA, PMI, Prince2, Design Thinking) are advantageous.

Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is a plus.

Willingness to travel to various locations, including other company offices and customer sites.
