ERP Project Manager

Additional Information:

• Location: Houston, TX
• Work Schedule: 5/40 Schedule, with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.

• The position is a 1-year assignment with the possibility of extension.
• This is a W2 position and is not open for C2C or 1099 arrangements.
• This position has opened due to additional team needs.

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled ERP Project Manager with extensive experience in ERP systems, particularly SAP/ERP. This role is crucial for the successful implementation of SAP Payroll and requires a dedicated professional who can provide comprehensive project management support.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the SAP Payroll Implementation project, collaborating closely with the Project Owner and Leads to ensure successful project execution.
• Adhere to and enforce PMO processes, playbooks, and established ways of working throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promptly escalate issues and critical risks to project leadership.
• Communicate and coordinate key dependencies and decisions with other project managers within the program, ensuring visibility to project leadership.
• Generate and communicate project updates internally and externally as required.
• Monitor and manage project financials, reporting accurately to project leadership.

Required Skills:

• PMP Certification
• Over 10 years of experience managing complex implementations
• Strong background in business and technical requirement development & management
• Expertise in process workflow design
• Proficiency in use case and test script design
• Extensive experience managing waterfall projects
• Proficiency in using MS Project
• Ability to work onsite at least 4 days per week, with 1 day working from home (no exceptions)
• experience managing ERP/SAP-related implementations

Experience:

• Experience with payroll implementations and/or payroll policies/processes
• Expertise in SAP/ERP integrations/implementation
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
