ABOUT THE ROLE



My client is looking for a Design Manager who has previously run a team of designers and has strong managerial experience.



* Leadership: Provide vision and direction for the design team, inspiring creativity and innovation.



* Project Oversight: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.



* Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the design team and other departments or clients, communicating project progress, requirements, and feedback effectively.



* Design Strategy: Develop and implement design strategies that align with the overall business goals and brand .



* Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently, balancing workload and skill sets to maximize productivity and performance.



* Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews and critiques of design work to maintain consistency, coherence, and excellence.



* Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design, and integrate them into the team's workflow to drive continuous improvement.



* Problem Solving: Identify and address challenges or obstacles in the design process, finding creative solutions to meet project objectives.



* Performance Evaluation: Evaluate individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback and opportunities for growth and development.
