Journeyman Electrician

You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, fixing, replacing, installing and repairing various electrical equipment into homes, businesses and factories. You’re familiar with using the latest hand and power tools, adhere to and local safety codes, and have completed your licensing, training, and apprenticeship requirements. $52,000 - $72,800 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Read and apply electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
• Make sure the wiring is in accordance with all building codes and safety regulations
• Locate and correct electrical problems, including component installation and replacement
• Run tests on all wiring and electrical components to ensure it’s connected
• Test newly installed electrical components to ensure proper function

Qualifications:

• Ability to speak well and deal effectively with people, including tact and courtesy
• Must have valid electrician license
• Completed electrician apprenticeship
• Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs
• Willing to work in confined spaces, at great heights, and in all types of weather conditions
