We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team.
Job Description: As a Journeyman Electrician at Lind Marine, you will be responsible for designing, building, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with local and electrical codes. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical theory, principles, and safety regulations, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex electrical issues, such as repair and maintain marine electrical equipment, processing plant systems, and motors.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards
- Inspect electrical systems, circuits, and components for defects or hazards
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, identify causes, and implement effective solutions
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to complete projects on time
- Provide leadership and guidance to other junior staff members
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
Qualifications:
- Valid Certified General Electrician Card State of California
- 5 years of experience as an Electrician
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions
Qualifications:
- Experience with commercial electrical work preferably marine equipment, motors and plant systems.
- Additional specialized certifications or training

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $40 to $50 per hour. These figures represent what Lind Marine reasonably expect to pay for this position, but actual compensation offered will depend on numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, location, education and market data. Lind Marine reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
