Job Overview:

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks with precision and efficiency. You will work closely with our team of electricians, project managers, and clients to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget. Your expertise and attention to detail will be critical in maintaining the high-quality standards that we have become known for.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment including wiring, fixtures, switches, and control panels

- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, making necessary repairs and adjustments as needed

- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine layouts and wiring procedures

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others

- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with project managers and clients to ensure project deadlines are met

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as testing and inspecting electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning

- Keep detailed records of work performed, hours worked, and materials used

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge

Skills and Qualifications:

- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or a combination of equivalent education and experience

- Journeyman Electrician certification or license required

- Experience as a Journeyman Electrician in commercial, industrial, or residential settings

- Knowledge of electrical systems, hand and power tools, and testing equipment

- Familiarity with local and electrical codes and regulations

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
