POSITION SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team and play a key role in building solar power plants. You’ll be responsible for installing, assembling, and testing electrical wiring and equipment to ensure everything runs safely and efficiently. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble, install, and test electrical wiring and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Pull and terminate conductors to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and compliance with code.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as megohmmeters and voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
- Follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
- Install ground leads and connect power cabling.
- Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Education and Experience
· Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience as an electrician in commercial construction.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
· In-depth NEC knowledge.
· Working knowledge of OSHA standards and safety requirements.
· Solar experience but not required

Physical & Travel Requirements
· Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches and moving heavy materials.
· Comfortable working from ladders, scaffolds, and in confined spaces.
· Willing to travel out of state for short-term and long-term assignments.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This role requires working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold. The job involves climbing, lifting, bending, and working in tight spaces. Expect weekday work with possible weekend assignments. You may also need to travel and stay overnight at job sites, primarily in the Southwestern United States. Note: This is a site safety position—attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are a must!
