Journeyman Fabricator/Welder - Day Shift

Newell Corporation is currently looking to add an experienced Welder/Fabricator to our production team on day shift. Newell Corp. offers a wide variety of welding/fabricating/machining & assembly services at our facility located in Arlington, WA. Fabricator/Welders at Newell Corp. are responsible for material/weld preparations, weldment fit-up, dimensional inspections and finish welding of products such as aerospace tooling, lifting equipment, construction equipment and weld build-ups for machinery repair.

Required Skills/Experience:

-Experienced in GMAW (gas metal arc welding)

-Experienced in FCAW (flux-cored arc welding)

-Experienced in GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding)

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints

-Candidates must be able to pass a hands-on weld test to demonstrate welding ability to AWS D1.1

Skills/Experience:

-Experience with manual machine tools such as manual mills, lathes and grinders

-Experience repairing/welding cast steel components

-Experience working in an AS9100 certified fabrication facility
