Position Overview:

Come build something new! You will support a Multi Domain Digital Engineering effort focused on a supporting a robust selection of Government and Prime Contractor partners. Primary duties include following a Scrum Agile process to develop code that enables a flexible analysis framework consisting of a wide array of underlying simulated system representations. This includes, but is not limited to, strategic submarine subsystems, launch vehicle platforms, aviation platforms, reentry vehicles, space operations, sensor models, and any bespoke physics-based representations needed to support our customers. The successful candidate will primarily develop in a Python environment, aid in constructing and maintaining a Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipeline, and integrating existing Government furnished simulations into the broader simulation framework. As well as contributing individually, you will be expected to aid in the mentorship and growth of junior developers on the team. You are expected to leverage your experience and past performance to help guide management decisions. You are also expected to contribute to technical discussions and architecture design alongside senior developers. Creative thinking, and well-grounded engineering and software development principles will enable you to create a new and interesting product that supports multiple organizations and military services. The data products produced by this simulation will drive strategic decisions made at the highest levels of acquisition for the appropriate Program Office and will enable a strategic overmatch that maintains the United States' ability to ensure freedom and democracy on a global scale.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited university
  • 1-5 years' experience

Security Clearance:

  • Must currently have and be able maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (TS )

CROSSFLOW KUDOS SPOT BONUS PROGRAM
We created a unique performance bonus program called Crossflow Kudos. 401(k) RETIREMENT PLAN & COMPANY MATCHING
Crossflow uses Principal as our 401(k) plan sponsor. Employees can choose payroll deduction and fund investing options. Payroll deductions will begin the month following your enrollment. Crossflow matches 100% of the first 3% of compensation, plus 50% of the next 2% of compensation.

HIGHER EDUCATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Crossflow offers education assistance to benefit-eligible employees for degree programs at their director's discretion. Crossflow feels that a well-rounded education, even outside of an employee's current role, can enhance an employee's skillset and increase the company's value.

GENEROUS PTO ACCRUAL & FLEXIBLE LEAVE POLICY
Crossflow currently grants 11 federally observed paid holidays. In addition to these holidays, Crossflow offers a minimum of 2 weeks of paid time off (PTO) to all full-time employees. Employees may utilize PTO for any reason (sickness, vacation, personal day, etc.) and can carry over a maximum of 120 hours from year to year. Many employees are authorized to work additional hours within a normal, forty-hour pay period. This approval is included in the employee's offer letter for employment. These extra hours may be banked for compensatory (comp) time off.

PAID PARENTAL & BEREAVEMENT LEAVE
To help our employees be present with family during major life events, Crossflow provides additional PTO. We offer varying types of paid Parental Leave to aid birthing, non-birthing, and adoptive parents transition into parenthood. Crossflow also recognizes the importance of supporting employees who endure a death in their family by providing up to 5 days of paid Bereavement Leave a year.
