Junior AV Project Manager
Our client, is a leading global integrator headquartered in Central London, delivering top-tier AV services across diverse industries worldwide.
We are looking for a motivated and organized Audio Visual (AV) Junior Project Manager/BAU PM to oversee the successful planning and execution of small-scale AV projects. This role is an excellent step up for a site manager with experience in AV installations who is ready to move into project management. You will work closely with senior project managers, technicians, and clients to manage project timelines,
budgets, and deliverables, ensuring each project meets quality standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for AV small works projects.
• Collaborate with senior project managers to define project scopes and objectives.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, risk assessments, and site reports.
On-Site Supervision and Quality Control
• Oversee on-site installations and ensure projects are executed according to specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks, ensuring that all work meets client expectations and industry standards.
• Manage AV technicians and subcontractors, ensuring they have the resources and support to complete their tasks effectively.
Client and Stakeholder Communication
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients during project execution, providing updates and addressing questions or concerns.
• Communicate any changes in project scope, budget, or timelines to clients and internal teams promptly.
• Ensure clear documentation and resolution of client feedback to maintain strong relationships.
Budget and Resource Management
• Track project budgets and monitor expenses to ensure each project stays within budgetary constraints.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to manage equipment orders, deliveries, and logistics.
• Identify potential cost-saving measures and communicate them to senior management.
Risk and Issue Management
• Identify, assess, and manage potential project risks to prevent delays and budget overruns.
• Address on-site challenges or client issues, escalating to senior project managers as needed to ensure smooth project progression.
Project Completion and Close-Out
• Conduct final site inspections and testing to ensure all AV systems function as intended.
• Compile close-out documentation, including final project reports, quality assessments, and client sign-offs.
• Gather feedback from clients and team members to identify areas for improvement in future projects.
