Wireless CCTV - Junior CCTV Field Engineer
Location: Newport
Salary: £25,000 increasing to c£29,000 with 6 months of training and a successful probationary period
Wireless CCTVs Newport Installations team are growing and looking to expand their Field Technician team further to assist with the creation and installation of our CCTV systems. Responsibilities as a Junior CCTV Field Engineer:

- Assist the team with the installation, servicing and diagnosing faults in our CCTV Systems.
- Continuously learning and developing to understand the programming and overall assembly of our products.
- Test products, including remedial fault analysis and provide technical support.
- Recommend the location of site security through a site survey and utilise your knowledge of the products.
- Consistent maintenance of your vehicle and part-take in internal inspections.
- Promote best practices by adhering to health and safety standards.

- Annual Starting Salary of £25,000 with the potential to increase to c£29,000 with 6 months of training and a successful probationary period
- Ongoing structured internal training against our custom skills matrix - Progression from Junior Engineer to a Level 3 Engineer is defined and achievable

Your Experience and Characteristics:
- \n
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence
- Have a passion for technology & engineering
- Manual Dexterity - the ability to assemble and fix electronic equipment to a prescribed standard.
- Experience in testing and diagnosing problems in electrical equipment is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and collaboration skills: a customer first approach is at the forefront of everything we do, so it is important that our core values are reflected in your work
- You will be working collaboratively with our Senior Field Engineers, so the ability to work within a team is key to this role
- A strong work ethic with a desire to learn is essential, you will be learning the role from scratch so having a passion for development is important
- Organisation and great attention to detail
