Job Number: J0724-0068 Job Type: Full Time Job Category: Skilled and technical trades Location: Montreal, Quebec Salary: Open Junior Estimator - HVAC JOB TITLE: Junior Estimator - HVACWORK LOCATION: Montreal, QCPermanent, full-time positionSUMMARYUnder the supervision of the Vice President - Engineering, the essential mandate of the junior estimator is to assist and support the sales team with accurate and detailed estimates.FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES•Read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical drawings•Estimate and draft project proposals for ventilation, air conditioning, and heating•Design air conditioning and heating systems•Produce coordination plans with the assistance of the drawing department•Prepare and review shop drawings for purchasing•Follow up on price requests with the purchasing department and suppliers•Be capable of anticipating and preparing options and equivalences when required•Assist the external sales department in responding to bids•Provide required information to sales team membersREQUIRED PROFILE•DEC in Building Mechanics or an engineering degree•Two (2) years of experience in a similar field•Ability to read and interpret plans and technical specifications•Knowledge of industry codes and standards (an asset)•Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite•Ability to work in a team•Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities•Logical mind, meticulousness, and good methodology•Attention to detail, autonomy•Possess very good communication skills Votre partenaire en recrutement – Your recruitment partner Are you interested in this job?
