JOB TITLE: Junior Field Service Engineer - Machine Tool

LOCATION: West Midlands

INDUSTRY: Machine Tool / Robotics Automation

SALARY: £30 - 35k (depending on experience) + company car, bonus and overtime

A summary of the ideal candidate profile:

• Completed an Engineering Apprenticeship.
• 2–3 years of field service experience in machine tools or some experience in engineering maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering aptitude.
• Candidate ideally to be Midland based.

THE ROLE

You will be expected to – as part of the duties and responsibilities of the role, to:

• Installation/Commissioning, Breakdown and Preventative Maintenance of the Roboshot Products.
• Attend customer sites in the UK & Ireland with overnight stays
• Customer Operation/Maintenance Training
• Deliver reports and customer satisfaction documents after the job completion
• Provide customer satisfaction through excellent workmanship and attitude
• Flexible with working hours in order to meet customer expectations

PROFILE

• Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Knowledge
• Experience in a Machine Tool Field Service role
• Have experience of FANUC Controls and EDM Wire Cut machines would be desirable, but full training will be given
• Good analytical & problem solving skills
• Effective verbal & listening communication skills

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Ideally you will have served an apprenticeship, have a BTEC, relevant City & Guilds or NVQ with a recognised qualification within the Engineering Industry and have post qualification practical experience, as well as:
• IT Literate
• A positive “can do” attitude
• Demonstrate high quality work ethic
• Hold a clean full driving license
