Junior Fit Out Estimator

Job Role: Junior Fit Out Estimator



Area: Rochester, Kent (Office based)



Salary: £25k - £30k



My client is seeking a Junior Fit Out Estimator to join their growing team. The candidate will have at least 2 years experience within the fit-out industry & responsible for fit out tenders. The role will progress into an Estimator role OTE.



Responsibilities:



Preparing detailed cost estimates for fit out projects ranging from £10k - £300k.



Analyse project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive bid estimates.



Retrieve material & labour costs inputting information into project budgets



Maintain records of all estimates/projects, and other relevant documents.



Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and summaries for review by management.



Support communication with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and verify scope inclusions.



The candidate:



Previous 2 years experience within the fit-out industry



Excel/computer skills



Ability to read drawings and undertake scaled take offs



Ability to attend site visits to undertake surveys prior to providing quotes



Eager to learn with a driven attitude



Ability to work solely or part of a team



Ability to liaise with client project management/site team
