Junior Geologist

Airswift is seeking a Junior Geologist to work on a Contractor position for 1 year in Rio de Janeiro with an Oil and Gas Company.

Responsabilities:

• Working with the Senior Geologist to support in country exploration team activities
• ANP compliance: well reports, post well analysis, sample/analysis tracking (including export samples) and report submission
• Well data correction: interact with service provider to get corrections done and in accordance with ANP technical opinion
• Samples storage management (new well) and potential new ANP activities (ANP requests to access bp well data)
• Back up for ANP/SISO system – incident reporting and DPP (general reports)
• Supporting other government interfaces as required

Requirements:

• Strong technical background in the oil & gas industry
• Bachelor’s degree in either geology or Engineering
• Previous experience working with ANP systems is
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent / Advanced English (speak, read, and write), with ability to interact with foreign teams.
