Junior Health and Safety Officer - Denmark

Requirements ·        Ensure conduct activities onsite are in accordance with the Company’s Site-Specific Safety Management System (SMS). This includes ensuring not exclusively: ·        Your will play a key role in implementing safety initiatives onsite ·        The role will entail the implementation of MSL safety management system accredited to ISO45001 ·        Supervisors implement the safety statement and comply with statutory requirements.  ·        Plant and machinery allocated for site is in accordance with regulations and inspected as required.  ·        All personnel recruited for or assigned to site are suitable for and competent to carry out work on site.  ·        Sub-contractors are aware of company policy and have confirmed that they will comply.   ·        Maintain daily presence onsite at all work fronts, check SPAs & Permits To Work are in place and adhered to correctly.  ·        Weekly Inspection of Plant and Equipment & Update Register (lifting tackle, slings, harnesses, fire extinguishers etc.).  ·        Update SMS with GA2 & GA3 forms, MEWP checklists, SPAs etc.  ·        Update Training Needs Analysis & keep relevant records on file to demonstrate conformance with statutory regulations and to maintain all aspects of safety and health in the company.  ·        Order PPE and control of quantities / type issued.  ·        You will be reporting Directly to MSL Lead Safety Advisor ·        A Danish Health & Safety qualification or Environmental qualification. ·        A background in construction is favorable but not essential.   MSL Engineering is an equal opportunities employer committed to ensuring our hiring process is fair and accessible to all who participate in the recruitment process.
