Position: Analyst / Junior Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) Analyst
This position provides an opportunity to assist with the development and advancement of cutting-edge technology that supports our nation’s fundamental defense services. Employees work closely with the government to develop solutions that allow them to carry out submarine missions. The selected candidate will work with Program Leads and collaborative teams to deliver end-to-end solutions in mission systems integration, development, and operations support to the fleet and organization. This position has the opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities:
MIKEL is seeking a Junior IETM Analyst. Candidate will be responsible for various pieces of the development and implementation of IETM standards and procedures. All of the work will be performed in a government provided development environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Receiving and tracking source data
- Verifying formatting and compliancy with MIL Spec standards/procedures
- Reviewing IETMs for completeness, accuracy, and inconsistencies
- Managing data modules
- Analyzing documents to maintain continuity of content style
- Tracking updates and revisions to technical documents
- Maintaining schedule files
- Creating and maintaining Data Module Requirements Lists (DMRLs), per the S1000D specification
- Utilizing configuration management software in accordance with configuration management processes
- Posses the ability to work in a fast-pased environment with the ability to multitask managing multiple projects with discipline, accuracy and meet deadlines
- Successful communication skills
- Customer oriented with flexibility to multi-task and perform a wide range of activities
- Excellent computer skills
- Detail oriented
Requirements
- The ILS position requires either a BS/BA Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. Equivalent experience can be substituted for a degree if the experience is directly related to the management of Electronic Technical Manuals IETMs.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
Experience & Skills:
- IETM familiarity
- MS Office proficiency
- JIRA experience a plus
- MilStd24784C and/or S1000D experience a plus
- Active Secret clearance a plus
