Junior Manufacturing Engineer- WorthingWe have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to join one of our clients. This position will be well suited to an individual looking to gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. Our client is a leading organisation in the manufacturing industry and is looking for a talented individual to join their team.As a Junior Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the engineering, production, and supply chain teams. You will play a key role in supporting new product introductions (NPI), ensuring a smooth transfer into production. Additionally, you will have the chance to identify and introduce new process capabilities to enhance our client's manufacturing work centres. Your creativity and problem-solving skills will be put to use as you produce jigs and fixtures to improve production methods.Our client offers a salary of up to £25, and a Monday-Friday working pattern with a half day on Fridays.Responsibilities:Identify and introduce new or enhanced process capabilities to improve our client's manufacturing work centres.Produce jigs and fixtures to enable improved production methods.Assist in day-to-day operations in the manufacturing assembly area to optimise workflows.Increase efficiency and reduce waste in production operations.Improve product quality and consistency through process optimisation.Continuously monitor and evaluate the success of implemented changes and adjust as necessary to meet goals.Requirements:Relevant mechanical engineering qualification (ONC or similar).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in a similar role within a mechanical assembly, fabrication, or machine shop production environment.A positive individual with a 'can-do' result-driven approach and attitude.Ability to work to a high-quality standard with attention to detail.If you are passionate about manufacturing and are eager to gain valuable experience in a supportive and thriving environment, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.
