Junior Mechanical BIM Engineer

Kemet Corporation for BIM Engineering is  looking for a " Junior Mechanical BIM Engineer   " to be a part of their team.  Job Duties:  - Able to collect needed data for his discipline  - Creating 2D drawings and 3D models from BIM data.  - Assisting in the coordination of BIM models with other building systems and trades  - Conducting basic clash detection to identify and report conflicts between different building systems.  - Collaborating with senior BIM staff and project teams to ensure BIM models are accurate and up-to-date.  - Providing technical support and guidance to project teams on BIM-related issues.  - Participating in the development of proposals and bids for new projects.  - Assisting in the preparation of quantity takeoffs and material schedules from BIM models.  - Staying up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends.  - Assisting in the implementation of BIM standards and processes within the organization.  - Assisting in the development and maintenance of BIM models for construction projects. Required Skills:  - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering    - Good command of Revit is a must.  - Strong 3D modeling & plan reading skills are required.  - Good Experience in Mechanical Engineering  (HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting)  - Construction industry background preferred Company Industry : Engineering.
