Strategic Technology Institute, Inc. (STi) is seeking qualified applicants for a Supply Specialist in support of Naval Sea Systems Command’s (NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) requirements at their research facility in Bethesda, MD.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following
- Collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government.
- Navy ERP material logistics transactions in the inventory management (IM), and warehouse management (WM) modules while conforming to NSLC Standard Operating Procedures and NAVSEA OM&S desk guides.
- Perform Material Master (UMM) requests, researched and completed all template data attributes, and submitted requests for Local Item Control Number (LICN) material induction
- Conduct detailed material screening, reviewing critical cataloging data such as classification code, demilitarization code, hazmat, repairable or consumable, and condition code.
- Review DLA Disposition Services (DLADS) procedures to ensure all material turn-in instructions were properly followed.
REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Individual shall possess a Bachelor’s of Science or Arts Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or related field from an accredited college or university with experience as outlined below. In lieu of the education requirement, individuals shall have an additional five (5) years+ of prior military, Department of Defense or related business experience in Plant Property & Equipment / Asset Management.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: The experience shall include three (3) years+ of experience with NAVY and NAVY Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) solutions and managing NAVY Logistics including Sponsor Owned Material (SOM) or OM&S. Experience shall also include responsibilities for material accountability, major project or program level management of contractors/subordinates, and performance of physical inventories of PP&E or OM&S. Working knowledge of DoD FMR Volume 4, Chapter 4, DoN Federal Financial Management Improvement Act (FFMIA) Statement of Assurance, and SECNAV INSTRUCTION 4440.33 is desired.
Shall possess a favorably adjudicated PSI at a T3 level.
