Junior Projects Integration and Interface Planner

MJM Industrial are currently recruiting for a Junior Projects Integration and Interface Planner to work directly for a global market leader in material handling systems.



This role would suit a Junior Planner or graduate with a couple of years’ experience and ambitions to progress in the fields of planning and project management.



RESPONSIBILITIES



As a Projects Integration and Interface Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination across projects within Heathrow’s Eastern and Western Campuses. Your insights help identify potential clashes between current and future works, allowing project managers, leaders, and subcontractors to make timely adjustments, regardless of their location.



Your role will include but is not limited to:



* Collaborate to identify key interfaces between Projects across all terminals within Heathrow’s Western and Eastern Campuses.



* Develop and maintain integrated and interface programmes, ensuring they adhere to best practice planning standards.



* Produce reports to effectively communicate schedule status in alignment with both internal and client requirements.



* Work in adherence to the appropriate client processes and sub-programme working practices.



* Apply critical path analysis to assess the impact of changes on critical and non-critical activities. Deliver information regarding changes and delays that have affected the program.



* Conduct impact assessments and explore “what if” planning scenarios for identified clashes.



* Deliver periodic programme updates and contribute to portfolio reports as needed.



* Coordinate between clients, their partners, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance with requirements.



YOUR BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE



It is essential you meet the following criteria to be successful when applying for this Junior Projects Integration and Interface Planner role;



* Experience of working in a project organization.



* Expert user of Excel and/or Power BI.



* Primavera 6 experience or any other planning tool.



* 1-3 years of Planning and/or Project Management wide experience



* Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise at different levels. You will have the ability to involve people and to convince them of the importance of sharing and receiving information in order to identify and maintain common project interests.



* Understand of Project Management methodologies required.



* Experience of delivery integration and/or interface planning on highly complex projects would be advantageous but not essential.



* An understanding on NEC contracts advantageous but not essential.



* Aviation and/or baggage experience is advantageous but not essential.
