Job Title: Junior Quality Inspector
Location: Cheltenham
Contract Details: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £24,000 to £27,000 per year
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM, with an early finish at 12:30 PM on Fridays

Conduct First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards
Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
Identify and report any non-conformities or quality issues
Collaborate with the Quality team to develop and implement improvement initiatives
Conduct inspections using appropriate tools and equipment
Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
Adhere to health and safety guidelines
Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality standards are met
Assist with internal and external audits as requiredEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Previous experience in conducting First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) in an aerospace or precision engineering environment
Understanding of engineering drawings
Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment
Good problem-solving skillsDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management systems
Experience with non-destructive testing methods
Familiarity with statistical process control techniquesHow to apply:
