Junior Quantity Surveyor

Junior Quantity Surveyor required to join civil engineering contractor for flood / sea defence project in the Wareham area. The Junior Quantity Surveyor will ideally have completed relevant construction / civil engineering degree looking to pursue a career in construction / civil engineering field. The Junior Quantity Surveyor will be working alongside commercial team managing the resources of a project lifecycle in order to ensure it achieves success of the project outcome and maximise profit provide planning, provision and monitoring of commercial support and assurance to the Project Manager and the project delivery team, pursuing own professional development and provide guidance and support to develop other commercial staff, showing competency in all commercial duties from contract negotiation to procurement, variations, valuations, payments to final accounts.
