I'm working with an existing client here at Planet Pharma, looking to hire a Knowledge Manager based in Slough! RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as a Knowledge Manager specializing in Learning Content Management, your responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and overseeing the Learning Content Management (LCM) strategy. This strategy will be instrumental in facilitating LCM activities across various markets, encompassing content sourcing, cataloging, editing, and maintenance within the Worldwide Commercialization Learning Centre of Excellence (CoE). Your objective will be to establish an integrated LCM framework that supports the CoE's efforts to expand learning opportunities, streamline the process of creating learning materials, and enhance the visibility of the CoE's content catalog across different markets.
- Create a streamlined and user-friendly process for sourcing, reviewing, cataloging, editing, and maintaining a comprehensive learning content repository across all markets, covering both product knowledge and skill-based learning solutions
- Conduct editorial reviews and proofreading tasks to ensure the precise development of redacted learning content and materials, even for intricate proprietary or product-related content, in adherence to company and regulatory requirements
- Establish procedures and guidelines for information storage, access control, and accessibility for team members, ensuring compliance with both company policies and regulatory standards
- Regularly interact with electronic systems (e.g., Veeva, LMS, LXP) for the management and storage of documents for the purpose of document control
- Oversee the management of the learning content archive and storage, including the retrieval of documents for use by the CoE and in-market trainers
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree, preferably in fields such as business, library science, science, or related disciplines; an advanced degree is advantageous
- Substantial experience in knowledge management, with a preference for experience within the life science industry
- Prior exposure to Knowledge Management methodologies, tools/platforms, and fundamental concepts
- Familiarity with Knowledge-Centered Support (KCS) methodology is a plus
- Experience in the development, implementation, and/or maintenance of taxonomies is beneficial
- Familiarity with adult learning methodologies is advantageous
LOCATION
Slough - Hybrid (1 day per week in the office)
