The role would be working for a major Biotech company and has career growth potential. This would be full-time / 40+ hours per week.

QC Associate I Compensation

• The pay for this position is $28.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

QC Associate I Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

QC Associate I Responsibilities

• Perform routine, accurate, and timely testing of QC samples according to standard protocols and operating procedures, such as flow cytometry-related protocols
• Prioritize daily workload and work independently
• Analyze data, report test results, and complete all required documentation and database entries
• Train and become proficient in all required techniques, operation of relevant equipment, and software packages associated with testing, data analysis, and reporting
• Work with human blood, human or mammalian cell culture, and/or animal tissues as needed
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot lab equipment while ensuring compliance with QC protocols
• Prepare lab supplies, reagents, and assist with laboratory maintenance
• Promote a safe work environment and participate in Environmental, Health & Safety programs
• Participate in group or intra-department teams and projects as required
• Perform other related duties and assignments as needed

QC Associate I Requirements

Candidates without the required skills will be rejected.
• Flow Cytometry experience is REQUIRED
• BA/BS degree in a related scientific discipline OR some related college coursework with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a biotech lab environment
• Tissue Culture experience highly
• Experience in an industrial or research laboratory is

QC Associate I Skills & Qualifications

• Basic computer skills: MS Excel & Word
• Knowledge of general laboratory safety procedures
• Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to follow established policies/procedures and maintain accurate records and logs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
