Land Surveying Project Manager
Job DescriptionJob Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Successfully manage projects – including creating scopes of work, professional fees, project schedule and manage accounts receivable
- Extensive knowledge of standard practices of land surveying in the State of North Carolina. Comprehension of practice in coastal areas is a plus
- Ensure projects are handled in a professional manner from beginning to end, including meetings, communication and deliverables
- Create and/or oversee maps, plats, survey certificates, construction staking with the ability to sign and seal items as necessary for clients or municipalities
- The physical ability to work in the field on the rare occasion it may be necessary
- Oversees and trains individuals to operate total station, level, GPS and data collectors for use in the field
Requirements:
- North Carolina Professional Land Surveying License
- 10+ years of experience in Land Surveying
- Excellent grasp of Land Surveying techniques, the ability to lead and teach surveying team members and great communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and CAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation)
- Valid NC Drivers License
