Landscape Maintenance Account Manager
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLanded has an opportunity for a Landscape Maintenance Account Manager located in Alexandria, VA. Responsible for managing $1.5M to $2M in residential maintenance accounts in addition to designing and selling enhancements of $1M annually. This role is crucial in fostering strong client relationships and driving business growth through exceptional service delivery and upselling landscape enhancements.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance Production:
- Managing residential maintenance accounts from sale through production. Accountable for quality, budget and timeline.
- Scheduling work to ensure efficient routing and timely production in order to meet customer needs.
- Overseeing the day to day operation of his/her crews to meet budgeted hours and materials costs while maintaining superior quality.
- Ensuring crews have the proper equipment to do their jobs and that equipment is properly maintained.
- Ensuring that job site quality and appearance meet client and Landed LLC standards.
- Inspect properties prior to scheduled service in order to properly prepare specific action plan for service. Adjust schedule as needed and follow up.
- As necessary, perform hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands.
- Maintain and manage all required paperwork.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with a residential clients in Northern Virginia.
- Ensure that customers are completely satisfied through effective communication, relationship building and regular site visits, becoming a trusted advisor to clients.
- Develop customized landscape maintenance plans that exceed expectations.
- Ensure seamless service delivery by collaborating with our operations team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns.
Enhancement Sales:
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance clients' landscapes with value-added services, estimating and selling those enhancements.
- Develop compelling proposals and negotiate contracts to secure additional revenue.
- Monitor project performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
Job Skills/Qualifications:
- prior proven experience in horticulture and field operations such as maintenance techniques, bed maintenance, pruning and planting, and turf care;
- proven experience as an account manager and selling enhancement work to residential landscape clients;
- a degree in horticultural or turf management is . However, sufficient experience may substitute for a degree;
- strong plant & turf insect/disease identification;
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- excels in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to easily learn other computer programs specific to our industry for scheduling, invoicing and estimating;
- prior experience using Landscape Management Network software ;
- bilingual in Spanish and English a plus; and
- a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
