Job Title: Landscape Maintenance Division Director
Location: Greater Cleveland / Akron Ohio Region
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Landscape Maintenance Division Director to lead our lawn maintenance division, which generates approximately $10M in annual revenue. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with excellent management skills along with the ability to drive growth and efficiency. A strong background in landscape care is a plus, but not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the ground’s maintenance division, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to safety protocols. Areas of concentration will be focused on customer satisfaction, team development, profitability, growth and contract renewal.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and drive profit margins while maintaining service excellence.
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of landscape care specialists, ensuring ongoing development and performance management. Responsible for managing direct reports of business development, account management and field supervision.
Guide the sales team with clear objectives and define a well-organized long- and short-term plan for optimal success.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Prepare and present regular reports on division performance, including financials and key metrics, to senior management.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding lawn maintenance practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Horticulture, Landscape Management, or related field .
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service excellence.
A proven track record of overseeing significant revenue streams within a division.
Excellent financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L statements.
Proficiency in landscaping software and tools is a plus.
