Laser Sales Estimator - Maidenhead - Permanent Role

\n

\n

Salary: £28,000-£34,000 (based on experience).

\n

\n

Shift:

\n

\n
• Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week

\n

• Between 08:30-1700

\n

\n

Silver Arrow are currently recruiting for a Laser Sales Estimator to work for our client based in Maidenhead on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leading company, with excellent working conditions and benefits.

Your Role:

\n

\n
• Create detailed quotations from customer drawings/models for existing and new customers, maintaining a high standard of service.

\n

• Maintain/improve on existing customer relationships and develop relationships with new customers in order to improve the service DMS offers its customer base.

\n

• Answering laser sales calls.

\n

• Converting successful quotes to orders on our system and getting feedback on unsuccessful quotes.

\n

• Communicating with the customer about order progress.

\n

• Supporting to the Sales Manager in growing the business in-line with the Company's vision.

\n

\n

\n

What we need from you:

\n

\n

EITHER: A technical estimating background within the sheet metal, fabrication, manufacturing, or similar industries.

\n

\n

OR: Someone who has plenty of CAD experience OR laser cutting experience and wants to develop themselves in an estimating/sales environment.

\n

\n

\n
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.

\n

• Outgoing and friendly, both in person and on the phone.

\n

• Ideally, some sort of quoting software or CAD experience.

\n

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

\n

• Excellent attention to detail.

\n

• Good organisational, numeracy, and computer literacy skills.

\n

• Good at working under pressure.

\n

• Hard-working and trustworthy.

\n

• Knowledge of laser cutting and sheet metal work is desirable but not essential.

\n
