Lead Automation Electrician & Installation Engineer

An Automated Machinery Manufacturing organisation based in Dorset. Their main purpose was in packaging and wrapping machinery but in more recent years have delved into the track and trace machinery market for tobacco manufacturing. They are working on exciting projects globally and are growing in more than one area of the business.

You will also have the exciting opportunity to travel to a variety of countries across the world and work on projects in FMCG industries such as tobacco manufacturing and food and beverage in the future as the business grows.



The Lead Engineer will also be the first point of contact for project managers within the business and will need to report to clients as and when necessary throughout the finalising, installing and commissioning phases. They will be leading a team of 3-4 engineers in this process too.



About you:



Essential:



- Electrical bias with 10 years of experience in special purpose machinery or FMCG industries



- Ability to lead teams



- Great communicator for internal and external updates on projects



- Must be keen to travel and have the ability to be abroad for 3-4 weeks at a time, numerous times



Desirable:



- Exposure to sensors, cameras and scanners



- Mechanical knowledge or experience is ideal



- Special purpose machinery experience is beneficial
