Our strategy is to focus on creating a safe work environment where our employees feel strongly connected to our values and objectives, and where the capability of our people is key to our success. Come and be a part of this success. About the Role Reporting to the Manager Governance & Stewardship, the Lead Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Framework is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive frameworks, managing business continuity planning (BCP), and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.  This role requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure organisational resilience and effective governance.   Accountabilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Business Continuity Planning (BCP):Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Business Continuity Plan to ensure organizational resilience in the face of disruptions.Conduct regular risk assessments, business impact analyses, and scenario planning to identify potential threats and their impacts.Coordinate and conduct BCP training, drills, and exercises to ensure readiness and awareness across the organization.Serve as the primary point of contact during a crisis or business disruption, coordinating response efforts and communication. Frameworks Development:Lead the design, development, and implementation of organizational frameworks to support business operations and strategic goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure frameworks are integrated and aligned with overall business objectives.Continuously review and update frameworks to reflect industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational changes. Reporting:Review and maintain comprehensive reporting systems to track the performance and effectiveness of frameworks, BCP initiatives and positive assurance.Review regular reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, risks, and areas for improvement.Review outsource partner contract management of contractual SLAs/KPIs (incl. with outsourced partners) & provide oversight of all contractors for contractor management standards.Ensure compliance with all internal reporting requirements. Control testing:Dedicated individual performing positive assurance will be reporting to this role. Support the teams to balance their workload, performance management, development and career growth. Ensure timely reporting of the positive assurance results. About You QualificationsBachelor’s degree in compliance, risk, finance or audit or any other relevant fields. Experience & Technical Competencies Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in framework development, business continuity planning, risk management, or a related area.Proven track record of successfully managing and implementing BCP and organizational frameworks.Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Proficiency in using BCP software and reporting tools.Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in business continuity and framework development.  About Our Process  At BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
