Lead Buyer

NES Fircroft are looking for a Lead Buyer to work for a major oil and gas operator.

Location: Paris, France
Start: September
Duration: 12 months
Rate: € negotiable

Key responsibilities:
Main duties
Working within the upstream division, you will be tasked with:
• Joining a task force whose aim is to purchase a Geotech Survey Vessel
• Preparing and managing the pre-consultation and tender file
• Conducting commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers in accordance with procedures and operational rules in conjunction with the Company’s Legal Purchasing Department
• To carry out this purchase by meeting objectives of cost control, deadlines, risk management, and providing a competitive advantage
• Assisting local structures

Skills and Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• English and French Speaking
• Offshore experience
• Knowledge of surveys
