Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of electrical engineers and overseeing the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for AI-based applications. This role will focus on robotics and industrial automation, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver complex, high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a team of electrical engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring project success.
- System Design: Lead the design and execution of electrical systems, including power distribution, control hardware, and automation solutions.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work alongside software engineers, mechanical engineers, and AI specialists to ensure seamless integration of electrical components in robotic systems.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all designs meet industry standards and safety regulations, with full technical documentation.
- Innovation & Problem-Solving: Drive creative solutions to complex technical challenges, particularly in the field of robotics.
- Project & Budget Management: Oversee project timelines, manage budgets, and ensure successful, timely delivery.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with external vendors, reviewing specifications and overseeing component integration.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster an environment of innovation and continuously enhance engineering processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (Master's or PhD ).
- Experience: 7-10 years in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior or leadership role. Experience in product design and Design for Manufacture (DFM) is highly valued.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of power distribution, control systems, and automation. Proficiency in design tools like EPLAN, Circuit Studio, and AutoCAD.
- Leadership & Communication: A proven track record of leading engineering teams and strong communication skills to collaborate across departments.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex engineering challenges and drive innovative solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in designing integrated electromechanical products for industrial markets.
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is an advantage.
