CBW are currently recruiting for a maintenance electrician to cover a large commercial estate. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor on site the successful candidate will be electrically biased to a minimum Level 3.

The successful candidate will have a more senior position than the electrical engineers on site and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.  This is an ongoing permanent role and offers a yearly salary of £32,300 with guaranteed pay rises included.\n\nKey duties & Responsibilities\n\nTo carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and refurbishment, in accordance with set schedules, ensuring standards are maintained in order to maximise organisational effectiveness.\nTo observe statutory and other relevant requirements at all times, in particular those relating to the Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH regulations and Electrical IEE regulations.\nFault finding and remedial works on plumbing systems and drainage installations.\nSampling and cleaning work to potable water services and cyclical maintenance of water hygiene.\nMaintaining electrical installations, repairs and maintenance to M&E, plant and building fabric\nEscalate any issue that would affect the availability, health and safety and security of the buildings.\nTo provide technical support/input to projects and initiatives.\nAssist maintenance team with other PPM/extra works related tasks.\nUndertake regular physical inspections of the buildings, and of completed works and service contracts.\nLiaise and build effective working relationships as appropriate with other staff and external parties\nDemonstrate the highest levels of customer service.\nComplete and finalise projects to a high standard and have the ability to self-snag works and fault find on completion\nHours of work\n\nMonday to Friday\n09:00 - 17:00\n36.5 hour week\nPackage\n\n£32,300\n36 Days holiday (including 28 days annual leave, 8 bank holiday days)\n3 extra paid days off in lieu for extra hours worked\nCompetitive pension contribution\nHealthcare\nSeason Ticket Loan\nElevated maternity, paternity and adoption pay\nEmployee assistance programme: Staff Support Service\nRequirements\n\nElectrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 3 \n18th Edition Wiring Regulations\nMust be able to provide copies of your trade certificates\nA proven track record in commercial building maintenance\nGood communication skills\nPlease send your CV to Fin@(url removed) or call (phone number removed) and ask for Fin for more information
