Lead Electronic Engineer

Responsible for PSU model development including prepare material, PSU assembly, circuit debugging, decide the cicuit parameters, solve the issues. Support Principal Engineers in daily work of Advanced Engineering's activities, where design, evaluation of circuits, component, firmware or qualification testing are required. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Circuit/ Component Evaluation Debug circuits, solve the issues independently Use calculation and simulation tools to calculate and simulate circuits Power semiconductors thermal and stress evaluation, provide the solution if issue found. Magnetic design validation, draft and check the design calculation. Qualification Testing Functional, compliance, thermal or other testing Setting up testers for testing or measurement solve the cicuit issue and decide the circuit parameters. Generate reports Firmware Coding Understand the firmware code and communicate the firmware engineer to modify the code Hardware design PSU electrical design to meet customer spec. Instruct junior engineers to finish the PSU debugging and complete the PSU functional test. Work with ME to solve thermal issue REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor Degree or above in Electronic Engineering or related disciplines. Possess above 8 years’ experience in switching power supply hardware development. Familiar with switching power supply topologies: PFC, LLC, flyback, BUCK, etc. Sounds knowledge in magnetic desing such as power transformer, inductor. Can use simulation tools such as MatchCAD, Simetrix/Simplis to do the circuit calculation and simulation Familiar with power semiconductors characteristics and their applications, such as MOSFET, diode, SiC diode/FET, GaN, etc. Familiar with PSU thermal and EMI designs.
