As Estimator within our Energy business, you will be a commercially astute individual with previous experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the production, strategy and interfacing between various departmental functions to ensure that tender returns are accurately priced, commercially and technically detailed
• Ensuring strict timescales are maintained throughout the tendering process
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and other professionals together with fostering the development of future tender success and new Client opportunities
• Supporting the transition between the tender phase to project handover and delivery

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in tendering or quantity surveying, with a civils or utilities background
• Knowledge of NEC suite of contracts, ability to ‘take off’ from design drawings, interpret specifications and prepare Bills of Quantities
• Involvement in the tendering process and the preparation and presentation of detailed tender cost build ups
• Background in the gas transmission sector would be vastly advantageous
