Position Summary:
Mid-Ohio Air Conditioning installers perform equipment replacement, duct installation and/or replacement, piping
installation and/or replacement, tenant improvements to HVAC systems, and equipment start up in existing buildings for
our commercial, industrial, and institutional customers in Central, Northeast, and Southeast Ohio. Their typical workday in a
team of 2 or more is 8 hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a half-hour lunch break. Overtime
opportunities are usually available. Lead HVAC Installers have good communication and problem-solving skills, read and
interpret blueprints, and work diligently to execute projects to successful outcomes for customers.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Commercial HVAC Installation experience
  • Preferably HVAC installation with piping AND/OR HVAC installation with sheet metal
  • EPA 608 Universal certification preferred, not required
  • Ability to weld sheet metal and/or pipe preferred, not required
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams preferred, not required
  • Valid, insurable drivers license
  • Ability to pass background check

Compensation:

Other Benefits:
Our installers receive company provided uniforms, a company vehicle which they take home, safety equipment, specialty
tools, and personal tool replacement. Each installer receives a company cell phone, and iPad or Android tablet with a data
plan so they may access company resources, industry resources, and manufacturer resources. Installers use these devices
to record their work via our Vision software Remote Field Service application.

Training:
Mid-Ohio Air Conditioning installers are offered a minimum of two weeks of formal training through multiple methods
which include:

  1. Manufacturers’ factory training
  2. Continuing education through local vendors and in-house training
  3. Online training
  4. On the job training

We also offer tuition reimbursement for industry related courses taken outside normal business hours.
