Our client is expanding across Montana and is looking for aLead Installation Technicianto join their skilled installation team! This is a full-time, year-round position with a dependable work schedule. The ideal candidate must be located within 1 hour of Bozeman, MT. If you are a tradesman with the experience and drive to lead a team of installers, we want to hear from you!

Job Role:

• Install and wire BAS Controllers and field devices; supervise the installation of building automation systems as your team grows.
• Install and terminate low voltage cables.
• Work independently and coordinate job installations and completion with team members, other contractors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient job site.
• Attend product training to enhance your building systems and controls expertise.
• Assist with job commissioning, start-up procedures, and owner training as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the BAS/controls industry.
• Proficient in bending and installing conduit up to 1" in diameter.
• Ability to organize and lead a team of co-workers.
• Strong ability to collaborate with building owners, contractors, and vendors.
• Highly organized and takes pride in workmanship.
• Experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Experience in building automation controls is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Availability to work overtime, varying shifts, and out-of-town assignments as needed.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.
• Current drivers license and a clean driving record.
• Must be located within 1 hour of Bozeman, MT.
