In total, we have multinational staff of more than 400 working in the power generation field in Asia. In line with our increasing business, we are seeking to recruit a Lead Piping Engineer, LNG & Green Fuels to join our team in Noida, India.QualificationsWhat You Should HaveWe are seeking energy professionals to deliver innovative LNG supply and energy solutions to our clients. As part of an interconnected team, you will provide engineering and consultancy services to the energy sector from project development to front-end engineering design (FEED). As part of the AFRY team, you will be involved in Pre-FEED, FEED, and PMC LNG-to-Power projects in Asia. You should be able to lead the FEED design for different LNG terminals that include onshore and floating and interconnection with power plants.RequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant degree from a recognized universityThe experience is between 10 to 15 years of Cryogenic Piping design, specifically focusing on LNG Topside and LNG Storage Tanks, BOG handling systems, regasification systems, and Gas send-out Piping within LNG Terminal facilities.Proficient in performing Pipe stress calculations and designing various components, including Top Site loading arm piping, transfer and re-circulation LNG piping, Boil-Off Gas Piping, and Rotating equipment piping.Expertise in incorporating hydraulic transient forces, and translating surge analysis results into dynamic force sets for force spectrum analysis using CAESAR II.Proficiency in using piping design software, such as AutoCAD, Caesar II, and Pipe Stress Analysis toolsExperiences:Proven track record in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) of LNG projects.Demonstrated ability to provide accurate cost estimates for piping projects.Extensive experience in Piping Layout development, adhering to ASME standards.Competent in spring hanger and support design, as well as dynamic restraints.Good background in developing piping specifications.Key Responsibilities:Lead and contribute to the design and engineering of LNG Piping systems.Conduct thorough Pipe stress calculations and provide design solutions for various LNG piping components.Oversee the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) phase of LNG projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Develop accurate cost estimates for proposed piping projects.Create and optimize Piping Layouts in accordance with ASME standards.You should be familiar with ASME , ASTM standards for material, including A333, A350, A671, etcDevelop the following tasks for LNG receiving terminal FEED projects;Design spring hangers, supports, and dynamic restraints for effective system supportUtilize 3D modeling software (, AutoCAD 3D, PDMS, or equivalent) to create detailed 3D models of piping systems, facilitating comprehensive design visualization and clash detectionParticipate in the selection and evaluation of contractors and vendors for piping-related components and services, utilizing 3D models for assessmentDevelop Report and Calculation for Piping & Pipeline Wall Thickness Selection ReportDevelop 3D Model Report (30% level)Develop Material Take Off (MTO) for Piping, Pipeline ItemDevelop RFQ for All of Main Piping & Pipeline ItemExpert in report writing and Fluent in English communicationsAdditional InformationWe offer the following to qualified candidates:Friendly international working environment with a wide variety of interesting and challenging tasksCareer opportunity in one of the largest international consulting and engineering companiesPossibility to grow professionally and advance in careerAt AFRY, we engineer change in everything we do.
