Lead Project Control Engineer

Job Title: Project Control Engineer
Reports To: Project Control Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years of overall experience
• At least 5 years in a similar project control role
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing project controls in multi-project environments
• Strong skills in managing project timelines, costs, and estimates

Objective:

• Provide project control support for multiple projects, ensuring efficient utilization of project control systems and managing contractors during project setup and execution phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project planning, cost control, auditing, and assurance processes across multiple projects.
• Oversee commercial and contractual management, including administration, finance, accounting, and invoicing.
• Manage project timelines, costs, estimation, and contract-related matters in a multi-project environment.
• Implement and support project control systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements and organizational guidelines.
• Take full responsibility for the integrity of data in the project control function.
• Prepare comprehensive planning documents such as project control procedures, schedules, deliverables registers, and cost curves.
• Monitor projects against established baselines and generate internal and external reports as needed.
• Work with project teams to forecast schedules and costs accurately.
• Support project management of change and clarify cost-related issues for timely invoicing.
• Coordinate subcontractor management and ensure financial controls, including cash flow projections, are in place.
• Assist in the configuration and deployment of project control systems and provide training for relevant personnel.
• Manage work orders and develop data interfaces for third-party systems as needed.
