As a Lead Reliability Engineer for OIC APAC, you will be responsible to assist the regional Service Delivery Technical Manager (SDTM) in driving Service Delivery KPIs and performance in the APAC region.
As a Lead Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible to:
- Work closely within the Oilfield & Industrial Chemicals (OIC) Service Delivery & Technical Teams to drive lab and field operation activities that will improve Service Delivery KPIs and overall performance.
- Lead and participate in incident investigations and failure analysis, ensuring the end-to-end process is considered, (including chemical analysis, job planning, preparation, and execution), and determine incident root cause(s) alongside appropriate corrective actions.
- Follow up rigorously with all action owners to ensure all remedial and improvement actions are carried out before target date.
- Focus on preventing failures during the lifecycle management of a product or service through active monitoring and corrective action planning.
- Support job planning and preparation by participating in Risk Assessment / Management of Change (MOC), deployment readiness assessment processes (DRA), Project Readiness Assessment (PRA).
- Identify trends to failure modes, investigate for corrective actions and analyse performance data and monitor performance.
- Communicate effectively and quickly within the organization on any process and operational bottlenecks identified, that can create service delivery issues for our customers.
- Handles special projects as required.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related Science discipline, Chemical Engineering or other related discipline.
- Have at least 2 year’s experience in chemical supply and delivery ideally within the oil and gas industry.
- Operations service delivery experience ideally within the oil and gas industry.
- Process driven with a strong desire to resolve process issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated competency of Microsoft Office software products such as Word, Excel, Teams, etc (Power Platform user skills are also highly desirable).
- Ability to communicate effectively across various hierarchy levels and to senior management.
