TechChefs in Duncanville, TX is hiring an experienced, customer-focused person to make a meaningful impact as a full-time Lead Service Electrician! If you love service work and meeting challenges head-on, you'll feel right at home here.

Depending on experience and performance, you can earn $80,000 - $90,000/year! Our Lead Service Electrician earns paid drive time and receives a take-home vehicle, fuel card, and specialty tools on top of these excellent benefits:

SCHEDULE

Business hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm with flexibility. Overtime is available and weekends and holidays are optional. As a lead, you're on-call for emergencies.

YOUR DAY

As our Lead Service Electrician, you don't have to worry about crawling around in hot attics (perk of doing commercial service work) or focusing on bending conduit. You use your problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to solve commercial installation, maintenance, and repair challenges. A big responsibility is chatting with clients, and you answer all their questions, provide accurate estimates, and clearly explain problems and solutions.

Working in places like restaurants and retail stores, you troubleshoot issues with electric systems, develop a game plan, and put it into action. You're not just a hands-on worker; you're a leader who oversees other techs' work and keeps them motivated. You also train apprentices, helping them grow within the electric trade.

LEAD SERVICE ELECTRICIAN REQUIREMENTS

• Journeyman electrical license
• Knowledge about running a service truck
• Extensive knowledge of commercial electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution
• High degree of accountability
• Ability to provide basic tools
• Strong critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and time management skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

QUALIFICATIONS

• TDLR certification
• Low-voltage work experience
• Ability to explain technical issues and solutions in layman's terms
• Leadership skills
• Customer service skills
• Creative problem-solving skills
