Lead Software Architect

• Guiding architecture and hands-on development for long-term projects
• Architecting applications and infrastructures, owning the technical vision
• Assisting the team with code reviews and mentorship
• Working closely with account, project management, and development teams within the agency
• Translating requirements into scalable and maintainable architectures
• Developing data-driven applications – including front ends – with accessible UI/UX
• Building back end services and APIs, integrating with 3rd party platforms
• Leading technical implementation of web-based projects, ensuring timeliness and quality
• Assisting with the testing of applications to ensure performance, security, scalability
• Participating in sprint planning and retrospectives

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in full stack software development
• Agency or consulting experience is – building websites and apps for customers
• Strong background with modern JavaScript (React or Vue), PHP, and/or Python
• Experience building web applications that integrate with 3rd party platforms like Snowflake, Salesforce, SAP, Seismic
• Experience with RESTful APIs, authentication, GraphQL, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, cloud infrastructure, and/or mobile application integrations
• Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or NoSQL
• Experience with headless content management (CMS) systems like Drupal, WordPress is ideal
