Senior/Lead Core Java Developer - FX Trading
Location: Hybrid (London Office)
Salary: Up to £130,000 + 25-50% Bonus

The team focuses on building robust, high-performance systems from scratch, without relying on Java-related frameworks.

Role Overview

\n

As a Senior/Lead Core Java Developer, you will:

• \nWork in a cloud-based environment, building microservices and collaborating with product and design teams to develop, deliver, and support client-driven projects.

\n

• \nSpend the first few months as a Senior Developer before transitioning into a Lead Developer role.

\n

• \nDesign and optimize high-performance trading systems, focusing on speed, efficiency, and scalability.

\n

• \nContribute directly to the development of a world-leading FX trading platform.

\n

• \nCollaborate across teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective delivery of business goals.

\n

Key Requirements

\n

\n
• \n7+ years of experience in Core Java development.

\n

• \nDegree from a Russell Group university in Computer Science or a related field.

\n

• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in optimizing performance, speed, and efficiency.

\n

• Leadership or mentoring experience within a development team.

\n

• Experience working with AWS or GCP.

\n

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

\n
