Lead Sr Electrical Engineer

This position reports to the Chief Mine Maintenance Engineer. What you will do: - Provide technical expertise relating to electrical engineering on both maintenance and projects throughout the mine - Provide guidance and mentorship while leading lead direct reports (electrical engineers and technologists) to achieve department goals - Drive excellence in safe engineering practices by furthering project quality and thoroughness What you will bring: - P. Eng is required - 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience, preferably in the mining industry - Proven leadership, interpersonal and communication skills - Demonstrated commitment to safety - Strong knowledge of varied electrical equipment and technical advances in the field - Excellent knowledge of electrical codes and technical schematics - Operations and Maintenance technical assistance - Maintenance and design of modern control systems and related IT infrastructure - Engineering, maintenance, project, and/or operations experience at an operating facility or heavy industrial site is considered an asset
