
Lead Systems Engineer
Responsibilities
:
·Lead and manage electrical propulsion projects from conception to completion, owning system development assignments, including system trades, requirement negotiations, documentation, scheduling, design, analysis, build, qualification, production, and testing.
·Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
·Design and develop electrical propulsion systems and components with a focus on IoT embedded systems architecture and design.
·Draft Technical requirements for IoT devices and propose the architecture and design, ensuring alignment with project goals.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
·Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical project requirements.
·Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and privacy regulations.
·Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
·Implement security measures to protect IoT devices, networks, and data from cyber threats.
·Familiarize yourself with the latest cellular network technologies, including 5G and 4G LTE.
·Perform system integration testing or functional qualification testing using system integration benches.
·Oversee multiple phases, from initial conception and solution implementation to verification, validation, and delivery for firmware and software platforms.
·Design and develop electric motor control systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
·Utilize embedded control-related skills to implement and enhance control algorithms for electric propulsion control units.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
Proficient in C and C++ programming languages, along with expertise in IoT embedded systems.
Strong knowledge of communication protocols and technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE and Ethernet for seamless device connectivity.
Hands-on experience writing requirements for IoT devices.
Understanding of basic Unix/Linux systems.
Familiarity with ARP4754, Safety, ClearCase, and DOORS.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in Aerospace or High-Power electronics is preferable, as is app development in Android/iOS.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and demonstrate a strong sense of personal accountability and drive to succeed.
